The TCM is built in the receiver so that you don't need to install or move any extra pieces of hardware. It goes with your receiver wherever you use it to ensure true precision in any field – flat or hilly.
The StarFire 3000 receiver is easy to set up and works perfectly with all accuracy levels (SF1, SF2, RTK), using both GPS and GLONASS satellites. But if you're not sure what accuracy level to start with, don't worry. You can start at SF1 and quickly upgrade to a higher level of accuracy as your needs change.

RTK: Your options
John Deere offers three options to help you get the most from the incredible accuracy on offer with RTK:
- Buy your own Why not invest in your very own RTK base station? If you do, you'll benefit from the ultimate repeatability of RTK when you want, where you want.
- Use your dealer Pay a yearly fee and subscribe to the RTK signal from your local John Deere dealer's RTK network. You'll enjoy all the benefits of ultimate accuracy without the need to purchase a base station.
- Go mobile If there's no dealer network available you can partner with a 3rd party signal provider and benefit from RTK corrections through the cellular network.
