Tanks are designed for a low center of gravity and material choices in combination with the round design make even the tank better all around. Due to the special tank design, additional tank baffles are not needed. It is easier to agitate liquid due to the smooth tank that has less risk of spray solution sticking to the inside of the tank. Thanks to the deep sump and steeply sloping bottom, dead volume is minimized, even on slopes. With no dead corners and baffles to disrupt the flow, agitation and rinsing are swift, smooth, and thorough.
The durable heavy-duty axle is fully integrated and comes standard with ProRoad double-linked axle suspension. The frame, tank, and single axle design offer many solutions that help the machine stay bottom heavy on the road and the field - no matter how full or empty the sprayer is.

Accurate boom-height adjustment is controlled by the mult-functional lever in the cab. TerrainControl™ Pro and TerrainCommand™ Pro boom control systems take away the guesswork of setting correct spray boom height at the spray start. Boom tilt is based on hydraulic tilt cylinder that provides an immediate response when the boom tilt position needs to be adjusted, a solution without negatively affecting the boom pendulum system.
The boom-height adjustment is based on a durable parallelogram construction that provides enough clearance for various crops heights. This solution supports equal height adjustment speed and creates sufficient clearance at the rear limiting crop damage.
The hydraulic cylinders for height adjustment operate in conjunction with the R900i’s large accumulator to absorb vertical boom movements during spraying. Together with John Deere BoomGuard in the centerframe that limits pitching, yawing, and rolling, it absorbs boom movements during spraying and supports excellent spray distribution.
The equalizer bar located underneath the centerframe and next to the folding cylinders creates the mechanical connection between the left and right inner boom segments. This solution equalizes the load on the fold cylinders. Even if the sprayer is not in level position, it supports simultaneous folding of the inner wings. This solution minimizes machine instability when folding. The parallelogram boom lift is secured with hydraulic operated mechanical locks in transport mode.
