Smooth*

The smooth roller is used as a ground sensing device to detect changes in the contour of the turf as the mower moves forward.

Advantages

  • long wet grass tends to stay down verses springing up
  • excellent ground sensing
  • ideal for muddy or wet conditions
  • ideal on new turf or when growing in new grass
  • 2 inch available as hollow or solid (4kg heavier)
  • 3 inch hollow only

Machine Grooved / Spiral*

The grooved roller is used as a ground sensing device to detect changes in the contour of the turf as the mower moves forward.

Advantages

  • long wet grass is stood up for cutting
  • will not bend the grass over
  • allows the grass to be cut verses passed over
  • solid end caps allow for HOC consistency
  • spiral version increases grass stand up for improved cut quality

MT Grooved / Spiral*

The patented MT roller is used to eliminate the roller overlap between cutting units and hence the marks this can leave on the green/ fairway.

  • solid end caps allow for HOC consistency
  • spiral version increases grass stand up for improved cut quality

The grooved roller is used as a ground sensing device to detect changes in the contour of the turf as the mower moves forward. 2.5 or 3 inch versions available.

  • 2.5 inch version allows QA5 units to be used with FTC
