Vice President and Comptroller
Ryan D. Campbell is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, a position he has held since April 2019. He is responsible for advising the chief executive officer and other leaders on major financial and strategic-growth issues. He also manages the company’s worldwide financial, business-planning, and market economics functions as well as investor relations.
Campbell joined John Deere in 2007 as Manager, Business Planning, after a 10-year career in public accounting with Ernst & Young. His subsequent positions with John Deere included Manager, International Accounting; Product Line Controller for Riding Lawn Equipment; Manager, Business Development; Director, Treasury Operations – Capital Markets; Director, Ag & Turf Finance, supporting the division president for Europe, Asia, and Africa. He was named Vice President and Comptroller for Deere & Company in 2016 and became Vice President and Deputy Officer in 2018.
Campbell earned an accounting degree from Simpson College and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
