Why, when, and how to change your air filter
Your air filter gets dirty over time – don’t ignore that, it can be bad news for your mower. An engine with a clean air filter runs cooler and will last longer.
How often should you change the filter? First, check it before each use. Look for loose or damaged parts and replace if necessary. No problems? It’s still a good idea to change your air filter about every 50 hours or once a season. Need help on how? Watch our step-by-step video on changing the air filter on your X100 Series Lawn Tractor – it’s a quick and easy job that will keep your tractor healthy and running smooth.
