H212 is a harvester head intended for thinning operations. It is easy to operate and produces high quality logs. H212 has three moving knives and it is narrow also when fully open which helps working in dense thinning forests.
"For me, the advantages of the H212 are that it's small, compact and lightweight. It weaves in and out of the trees so well in the first and second rounds of thinning, without damaging the surrounding wood."
The operator sets the desired force level for the delimbing knives and the IHC measures the compression force and automatically adjusts it as needed.
With the high cutting speed, productivity is good and amount of cutting cracks minimized. Maintenance is quick with one position daily service.
H212 is available for harvesters 1070G and 1170G.
H212 frame, tilt, roller arms and design of knives together with the universal MTH unit makes multi-tree-handling effortless. The frame of H212 is high and gives excellent support to a bunch of trees and the tight grip makes moving of trees on a vertical position easy even in a dense forest. The long knives help grabbing trees and the placement of feed rollers in the lower part of the frame centers trees and holds them steady.
