Key features include:
Serviceability is part of the design to keep the machine at peak performance.
The hood opens forward to provide excellent access to the engine and cooling components as well as to the electrics. The open hood also exposes:
The lower part of the hood exposes the hydraulic cooler for easy service.
The white box diagnostics are located on the operator station to control the electrical system. A simple but effective system shows the operator when an electrical problem occurs and in what circuit. The location next to the operator’s seat makes the white box easy to use while sitting on the machine.
Proximity switches are used detect the position of the lift arms and the drive pedal. These switches are reliable, wear resistant, unaffected by dirt and humidity, and maintenance free.
The rotate for service on the center deck makes cleaning and service of the deck very operator friendly.
The open station version standard comes with ROPS.
A factory-installed cab is an available option.
Both the 1505 and 1515 come standard with road lights. The rear lights are integrated in the fame and well protected against any damage.
The light kit includes:
To meet the traction requirements of a commercial mower the 1505 and 1515 come standard with four-wheel drive (4WD), differential lock, and weight transfer system.
Key advantages include:
Operator comfort is a key part of the 1505 and 1515 design.
The 1505 in standard configuration has one switch for the deck
Using the 223-cm (87.8-in.) deck, a second switch is offered to tilt the fourth blade of the deck
For the 118-cm (46.5-in.) Commercial Rear Discharge Mower Deck, three-switches are used – the center one is for deck up and down, right and left for tilting the wings on the deck
The 1515 comes with two switches – one for the center deck and one for the side wing.
Cross cut is a function that lifts the deck in the horizontal position just high enough for turning. The cross cut function improves ease of operation and productivity.
Internal wet disk brakes are maintenance and service free.
Differential lock is standard on the 1505 and the 1515. The differential lock locks the two front drive wheels together to provide extra traction. A comfortable electrical pedal switch is located on the left operator station. It is operated with the left foot while the right foot maintains speed and the hands stay on the steering wheel.
Four pumps directly in line with the engine output, shaft-mounted pumps provide power to the drive as well as to the mowing circuit.
