The 640PF is equipped with a synchronized dual knife drive which is based on the 600X design.
On the 640PF, has a hydraulical and seamless belt adjustment range which allow you to find the perfect crop flow intendent of your condition. A lower belt speed is especially beneficial to improve rape seed feeding. The plant can better fall over for a header first feeding. In high-yielding, small grain conditions with a lot of straw volume, the higher belt speeds is ideal.
The auger drive is protected by a slip clutch to protect both auger and drive system from overload in case of crop plugging or stone collection.
640PF Platforms features a large, 760-mm auger tube with deep auger flights to handle large amounts of crop. This design provides a very big area under the auger to aggressively feed large volumes of crop material.
The auger is equipped with retractable auger fingers over the full width of the auger. Auger fingers are designed for quick replacement and mounted with a finger retainer. Auger finger retainers prevent broken fingers from being moved into the combine, minimizing the potential damage caused by rocks and other obstructions.
