Precision-engineered bale forming
When the long 3.3-m (10.8-ft) bale chamber has been filled, the precision-controlled forces of several components compress the crop flakes into sculpted, rock-hard square bales of concentrated energy.
The load pin-controlled high-capacity plunger works at a rate of 46 strokes per minute and is guided by some of the largest plunger bearings in farming, greased automatically for low-maintenance intensity.
More room for quality
A long bale chamber is a key element in producing higher bale quality and density. At 3.3 m (10.8 ft), John Deere's comes in at the top end.
Engineered to last
Four extra-durable, permanently lubricated plunger rollers (60 x 125 mm [2.4 x 4.9 in.]) ensure that the bale chamber and plunger work efficiently and reliably season after season.
Hydraulic efficiency
Operators rave about the practical convenience of the cab-operated hydraulic load sensing control system and bale ejector control panel, discharge ramp, and knife cassette access.
