John Deere’s newly formed agriculture and turf dealership Tallis Amos Group Limited has been appointed as the company’s new agricultural dealer for the Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire area in south-west Wales.
This follows LAS Agric Ltd’s decision to cease trading, as of mid-July 2012. The Tallis Amos Group is now serving customers from the existing premises in Narberth, Dyfed, and is working to ensure a smooth transition of the business. All the previous dealership’s key staff, led by new branch manager Matthew Blackburn, have been retained to provide full continuity of sales and service to customers in the area.
“I am delighted that the Tallis Amos Group has agreed to take on this area and bring their combination of experience and expertise to this part of Wales,” says Matthew Blackburn. “It will allow us to grow the business and concentrate on delivering unrivalled parts and service support to all our customers.”
The Tallis Amos Group is owned by the Tallis and Amos families, with managing director Ben Tallis, who is based at Chris Tallis’ Evesham head office, and sales director Simon Amos, based at Alexander & Duncan in Leominster, running the company as partners. The new dealership will trade under the Tallis Amos Group name.
