PIPs
In common with most companies John Deere products are constantly changing, evolving and improving based on direct customer feedback, research and development and a number of other reasons.
Where the subject of a change or an improvement in a product will bring about significant functional or reliability improvement, John Deere will often instigate a Product Improvement Programme. This is an activity which considerably enhances product quality and reliability and is a major contributor to the quality image of our products and higher average resale values.
Customers of second hand equipment may not receive full benefit of eligible Product Improvement Programmes due to the location of their machines being unknown. Customers should register their products with their nearest John Deere dealer who can then check for outstanding PIPs and ensure any future PIPs are applied to those products
