The forests of Great Britain & Ireland provide the highest yield of forest residue anywhere in Europe and the 1490D slash bundler is the tool to transform this slash into a clean, easily transportable form of biomass.
Sharing many components with the legendary 1410D forwarder, the 1490D has returned yields in excess of 200 bundles per day in UK conditions. The 1490D collects slash left behind after harvesting and the continuous, automated process of the bundling unit compresses the residue into compact slash logs. The whole process is fully automated through the intelligent TimberMatic 900 control system.
